The world heritage site Kaziranga National Park has successfully crossed 100 years of conservation process. Keeping in touch with the 69th Wildlife Week celebration, CNB College, Bokakhat observed the same by organizing a programme on conservation in collaboration with KNP and Tiger Reserve, Assam on 5th October 2023. The programme was organized by Dr Bidyut Boruah and Mr Phalgun Chetia, Assistant Professors of the college. The director of KNP Dr Sonali Ghosh was the Chief Guest, who exchange her valuable thought and ideas with the students. The programme coordinated by Mr Uttam Saikia, Wildlife Warden of KNP was attended by guest – Ms Subarna Saikia (President, All Assam Lekhika Samaroh Samittee, Mr Jitu S. Rajkhowa, President, Assam Rajyik Sangbadik Sangstha, Mr Bubul Dutta, President, Bokakhat Sub-Division Journalist Association, Mr Bhabananda Kalita, President, Bokakhat Press Club, Ms Geetanjali Kalita, Secretary, Bokakhat Puwoti Sahitya Sabha, Mr Amar Sarmah, Poet, Dramatist, Journalist, Ms Mridusmita Sarma, Poet, Writer, Journalist and Ms Ajanta Talukdar, Poet, Journalist. The programme started with a Borgeet by a student. The inaugural speech was delivered by Dr S. Dutta, Principal of the college. Some of the guest and students recited poem of the occasion and some other delivered speech. Dr S. Ghosh, Director of KNP gave each of the guest and students reciting poem a momento . The programme was concluded with the thanks giving offer by Dr B. Boruah.
