Bokakhat, 10th February:
A one-day workshop on the preparation for competitive examinations was organized by the Career Guidance and Counseling Cell of CNB College, Bokakhat, in collaboration with SPC IAS Academy on 10th February 2025. The event took place at the Video Conferencing Hall of the college and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
The workshop featured eminent personalities, including the resource person, Mr. Mir Shakil Rahman, and the Chief Guest, Ms. Anita Baruah, ACS, who secured Rank 26 in the 2022 examination and currently serves as an Executive Magistrate of Bokakhat Co-District. Additionally, Mr. Gitartha Pratim Bhuyan of SPC IAS Academy was also present to share insights and guidance with the attendees.
The program commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Surajit Dutta, Principal (in-charge) of CNB College, Bokakhat. This was followed by an engaging and informative session led by the resource person, Mr. Mir Shakil Rahman, who conducted a PowerPoint presentation outlining key strategies for excelling in competitive examinations. The presentation covered various aspects, including exam patterns, time management techniques, study materials, and preparation strategies.
A total of 100 students, along with the teaching staff of the college, attended the workshop. The interactive session allowed students to seek clarifications and ask questions, which were effectively addressed by the resource person. The insightful responses provided valuable guidance to aspiring candidates.
The workshop proved to be a highly beneficial initiative, equipping students with essential knowledge and strategies for excelling in competitive examinations. The event concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals.
