29th Establishment Day of CNB College is celebrated

CNB College, Bokakhat,

Bokakhat, 06th October 2023: CNB College, Bokakhat has observed 29th Establishment Day on 12th September 2023 with the following programmes.

8:30 am : Flag Hoisting

8:45 am : Memorial Tribute

9:00 am : Wall magazine competition

10:00 am : Debate competition

2:00 pm : General Meeting

In this context the flag was hoisted by Dr Surajit Dutta, Principal, CNB College, Bokakhat. At 8:45 am a tributary function was conducted by Mr Apurba Bordoloi, Founder President, CNB College, Bokakhat along with other members, guest and teachers. The founder principal Mr Sarat Chandra Dutta also gave tribute to the passed away CNB College family members. In the wall magazine competition Mr Vikram Mahanta, Associate Professor, DKD College, Dergaon was the judge and following prize has been selected.

1st Prize : Department of Zoology, Name of Wall Magazine Beehive.

2nd Prize : Department of Physics, Name of Wall magazine Pragyan

Prize for special writing:

  1. Purabi Borah, 1st Semester, Department of Physics
  2. Aaimi Saikia, 1st Semester, Department of Chemistry

In debate competition judges were Mr Bikram Mahanta, Associate Professor, DKD College, Dergaon, Mr Prasanta Dutta, Sr. Journalist, Aamar Asom, Golaghat and Mrs Manika Boruah, Sr. Advocate, Bokakhat. A total number of 14 teams were join for the same. The prizes of the competition were as follows:

Best Debator: Utpal Jyoti Borah, DKD College, Dergaon.

2nd Best Debator: Gaurav Kashyap, JB Law College

Best Team: Utpal Jyoti Borah and Pratyash Prasanta Tamuli, DKD College, Dergaon

2nd Best Team : Dimpy Moni Dutta and Sudipta Saikia, JB Law College.

The main meeting of the establishment day was started from 2:30 pm with the president ship of Dr Surajit Dutta and special guest was Dr Dipak Kumar Borah, Principal, GMC, Deithor. The meeting was ended by 5:00 pm.
